As you might already now, Microsoft offers a free tool to do an assessment of office files.
There is a lot of documentation on TechNet on how to setup/run the OMPM (Office Migration Planning Manager), import log files, how to analyse results, etc… . The OMPM also has the ability to resume an aborted scan. This comes in handy for example when you have a customer who does not want you to scan his network during business hours.
In the next few minutes we are taking a closer look how this works and what pitfalls there might be.
