Imaging is one of the mainstays of the deployment section, which in turn is part of the IT Lifecycle Management concept.

Installing an operating system manually on a large number of desktops is no longer a sensible way to proceed. It is a very time-consuming and labor-intensive process. Because everything is done manually, there is a realistic chance that an installation might deviate from the preset standard.
