Until recently Dräger Safety Belgium engineers did not always have the complete files to hand when visiting customers for maintenance work. In addition to all the practical information about the customer, engineers also needed to be able to check useful information on the SAP system. Xylos built a bridge between a Microsoft SQL Server database and SharePoint 2010 so that engineers can now retrieve all the necessary information centrally, even from SAP. An Internet connection is not required, as everything is on the engineer’s laptop.
