Unified Communications
Unified Communications (UC) integrates speech, data and video communication so organisations can optimise the communication between employees and customers.
Unified Communications is part of the Xylos ‘Productivity Suite’, which is the tier that focuses on end user efficiency.
UC is a combination of technologies that enables end users to find out where their colleagues and/or other contacts are located, and whether they are available, in order to provide superior service to customers and prospects.
The technology is based on Microsoft Exchange (+ Outlook) and Microsoft Lync (Instant Messaging, audio conferencing, video conferencing, enterprise voice …). Microsoft Lync is also a telephony platform that can just as easily be integrated with telephony solutions such as Mitel. As a result these platforms have been integrated with telephony.
Inia, a joint-venture between Xylos and SecureLink, is specialised in Unified Communications, with a focus on the following fields of expertise:
