More than just training

With training alone you will not achieve User Adoption.
 

User Adoption involves:
 

1. Learning: apply new knowledge and skills
2. Changemanagement: the readiness to apply new methods
3. Governance: develop arrangements, rules and guidelines about new methods
 

A new application usually involves many changes, and as a result your employees will need to adjust to a new way of working. This is not always plain sailing. Resistance, lack of knowledge, unclear communications … All these factors stand in the way of a successful implementation.
 

Training alone is not always the answer. What you really need is a good mix of vision and leadership, clear communication, training and knowledge transfer.
