Some organisations are still reluctant to use the public cloud for various reasons. Microsoft is introducing Azure Stack, which has the same components and ease of use as Microsoft Azure, for these people at the end of the year. Software developers can request the infrastructure they need, and the provisioning takes place automatically. Microsoft will also run its new native cloud OS, Windows Server 2016, on top of Azure Stack. Azure Stack and WS16 have been developed to allow IT to respond much faster to requests from business users. Together they form a dynamic environment which turns IT into a full ‘as-a-service’ model, and which also speaks the same language as Azure’s public cloud. Microsoft has reinvented backend IT. In this breakout session you can discover if this is a good solution for you too.
