Virtual workshops Office 365

Are you exploring Office 365 and do you have any questions about the software that need answering? Book one of our virtual workshops today. We’ll help you and your co-workers get up and running with Teams, Power BI, Power Automate, Project Online Professional, and other tools.

Our virtual workshops are presented and can be attended through MS Teams.  After you’ve booked your sessions, we’ll send you a link that you can forward to your colleagues. To guarantee the interactivity of our workshops, the number of participants is limited to 15.
 

MS Office 365: Working efficiently in Office 365

This workshop is focused on working and collaborating in Office 365 and sharing documents. Our Learning Consultant will explain which tools are best for which specific situations (OneDrive for Business, Teams, SharePoint).  After this, they’ll show you how to efficiently share your documents with others.  Based on the intake interview, our Learning Consultant will tune the information presented in the workshop to the needs of your organisation. At the end of the workshop, there’ll be time for questions.

MS Office 365: Time management with Office 365

We’re all part of different teams or communities. For many jobs, people need to collaborate more and exchange more information – which is often poorly structured and spread across several locations. We’re hyperconnected and always online, which means that we need to process ever-increasing amounts of information at work as well as in our private time. E-mails keep piling up in our Outlook inbox, we receive messages through Teams, Yammer and Skype...

And we often feel obligated to answer the e-mails and messages that come in immediately. To keep some sort of overview, many try to structure these messages as well as possible by sorting them in folders. But when you receive bits of information through different applications, structuring everything becomes considerably harder.

When it becomes impossible to process the influx of information properly, you’ll need to make choices. With the right tools, you can channel and filter all incoming information. By ‘channeling’ information, we mean that you use the O365 application that’s best for a specific purpose. 

In this workshop, we’ll cover the following topics:

General communication guidelines: when do you use Teams, Outlook, or Yammer?
General time management principles that help you structure information within Office 365
Task management: how can Outlook, Planner and To-Do help you manage your tasks?

This workshop focuses on the communication aspect of Teams, which includes online meetings and calling.

This workshop focuses on collaboration in Teams. You’ll learn how to create and manage Teams and channels, use the chat function and collaborate on documents. Our Learning Consultant will give you concrete examples which all participants will be able to recognise. During and after the workshop, participants will be able to ask questions.

If you’re working with Office 365, Microsoft Teams is your ideal tool to organise online trainings.  You no longer need a separate platform for webinars or announcements within your company either – that’s what live events are for. During this workshop, you’ll learn the tricks of the trade and we’ll teach you all the ins and outs of Teams. You’ll learn how to grab and hold your participants’ attention, and we’ll give you some educational tips to make your online training a success.

Power BI: Getting started with Power BI

Power BI is a tool that lets you present data visually in a way that sticks.  If you’d like to uncover what Power BI could do for your organisation, this virtual workshop is made for you.

Power Automate: How to build simple workflows

Power Automate (previously known as Microsoft Flow) lets you automate recurring actions between Office 365 and about 200 other applications. This system works by creating ‘flows’. Power Automate is a no-code software platform, which means you don’t need to be a programmer to use it. Discover the software’s possibilities for end users in this workshop.

Project Online Professional: A comparison with Project 2019

Project Online Professional is the version of MS Project that’s activated through an E3 or E5 subscription.  But what are the differences with MS Project 2019? Microsoft has expanded Project Online Professional with templates, reports and buttons to plan according to the Agile and Scrum principles. You can add sprints and create Task boards. This workshop will give you an overview of these new features.

Excel O365: How new functionalities lead to a new way of working in Excel

To all Excel gurus who are working in O365: we’ve got great news!  Excel was recently updated with a host of new functionalities.  Depending on your subscription, you’ve either already got the updates or you’ll see them shortly.
