Dieter Vandenberghe becomes Xylos’ new COO

09/12/2019

On 1 January 2020, Dieter Vandenberghe, the current manager of the business unit Advanced Workplace, will start his new position as Xylos’ Chief Operating Officer (COO). “As Xylos’ new COO, I’ll be able to further develop the crucial process of digital transformation on a strategic and operational level for all businesses”, Dieter Vandenberghe comments.

All eyes on digital transformation

The landscape at Xylos is about to change. As we’ve announced earlier, Xylos will welcome its new CEO Patrick Leysen on 1 January 2020 – and he’s not the only one who will start a new chapter on this day: Dieter Vandenberghe, who was appointed as the manager of the Advanced Workplace business unit last year, will step up to be Xylos’ new COO.

“It’s a great honour for me to get the opportunity to put the experience I gained with Advanced Workplace and Inia to use for the entire Xylos group. With Advanced Workplace, I focused on delivering solutions for workplace management, digital collaboration and intelligent communications. As Xylos’ COO, I’ll be able to further develop the crucial process of digital transformation on a strategic and operational level for all businesses”, Dieter Vandenberghe says.

Focus on continuous innovation

For Xylos, Dieter Vandenberghe’s new role is an important step on the way to realising the company’s growth plans. “Xylos’ focus on innovation is the key to the company’s success. With his profound operational knowledge and experience, Dieter will strengthen our position in new market segments as well as segments where we’ve already established ourselves”, comments Patrick Leysen, who will take over from Ludo Wijckmans as Xylos’ CEO on 1 January 2020.

Ludo Wijckmans looks forward to this change as well: “Dieter Vandenberghe has what it takes to shape Xylos’ further growth. He’s proven as much in the past years. I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank Bart Sijnave for his efforts for the Group in the past 3.5 years. We wish him all the best with the new road he’s taking in his career.”
