CORES Development chooses Xylos to fully manage its IT environment

After working together on cybersecurity, the Antwerp property developer now also opts for full managed services from Xylos.

Antwerp-based property developer CORES Development is handing the full management of its IT environment to Xylos from 1 November. CORES already relied on Xylos for its security.

The full managed services contract covers the entire IT environment of CORES, which is built entirely on Microsoft. Xylos takes over management and helps employees with their day-to-day IT questions. This gives CORES a single point of contact for both management and security.

A clear division of roles

The roles are clearly divided. Jonas Haezebrouck, Information Technology Coordinator at CORES, keeps the overview of the entire IT environment and takes the strategic decisions. Xylos handles management and thinks along about the next steps. Michael Poesen, CFO of CORES, also follows the IT policy closely.

“From November, Xylos takes over day-to-day management, so I can focus on the bigger picture and the strategic choices. We remain free in our choice of technology and partners. With Xylos, I have a partner who thinks along and is close by.” - Jonas Haezebrouck, Information Technology Coordinator at CORES Development

“From November, we take over day-to-day management, so Jonas can focus on the strategic choices. We will regularly sit down together to look at what can be improved and what is on the roadmap. We are really looking forward to it.” - Gauthier Van Peel, Sales Professional Mid Market at Xylos

Why CORES Development chose Xylos

The fact that Xylos is locally rooted and can be on site quickly also weighed in the choice. On top of that, the two companies clicked, right up to management level.

“IT is a strategic topic for us. We were looking for a partner who thinks ahead proactively and also engages in the conversation at management level. We found that at Xylos, with people who are close by and communicate just as directly as we do.” - Michael Poesen, CFO of CORES Development

“CORES Development develops projects that shape the streetscape and has strong ambitions for the property market. With an ambition like that, you don't want to lose sleep over your IT. We are proud that, after our collaboration on cybersecurity, CORES is now entrusting us with full management as well. At CORES they say it like it is, just like we do, and that makes working together easy.” - Patrick Leysen, CEO of Xylos

About CORES Development

CORES Development, founded in Antwerp in 2006, focuses on strengthening town and city centres. 'Urban Landscaping' that adds value to society is central to this, based on collaboration with all stakeholders: local residents, government bodies, architects, construction companies and engineering firms. CORES Development takes on the role of facilitator, with a strong focus on reaching compromise.

By responding to the current and future needs of the market, CORES Development delivers sustainable and innovative real estate. That approach also earned international recognition with two MIPIM Awards for Royale Belge in Brussels. CORES Development is therefore more of a concept developer than a project developer.
